Laura Taylor graduated from Virginia Wesleyan College with a B.A. in English and Communications. Though Nightfire is her first published
novel, Laura’s story-telling dreams started when she was much younger. In
elementary school, she kept her youngest brother up late at night with stories
that she made up on a whim, worked with both of her brothers to write and
“produce” plays for their parents, and wrote her first chapter book at the age
of 10. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, spending time with
her family, drinking great wine and writing her food and entertainment blog,
Cocktail Cutie. She currently lives in a suburb of Atlanta, GA with her
husband, daughter, two dogs and turtle.
